# Motorized stage connection

Main steps:

1. Remove manual stage
2. Connect the focus module
3. Connect XY-stage
4. Connect control unit

### 1. Remove manual stage

Initial state.

Remove the condenser.

Unscrew 3 screws at the base of the manual stage to remove it.

Unscrew 4 screws at the stage-holder to remove plastic handle.

### 2. Connect the focus module

Fix the focus module on the focus knob with clamp tie

Push the motor towards the microscope for coupling with the fine focus handle

Do not press too hard, otherwise the grip will deteriorate

Tighten motor screws and close the focus block with the end cap.

### 3. Connect XY-stage

Connect the module to the manual stage place using 3 screws.&#x20;

On  different microscopes screw position can vary - let us know what version of microscope do you use before the stage purchase

Move the stage vertically with focus knob so that the distance from the 100 lens to the glass is 3-5 mm

Attach the green sensor to the microscope so that it is located directly under the black strip of the stage.

Using the fine focus knob, lift the table so that the distance between the bar and the sensor is 2-3 mm.

### 4. Connect control unit

Connect signal cable to the control unit and to the stage.

Connect the power cable and turn on the control unit. &#x20;
